Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration
Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

It’s been a whirlwind of a week – I’m so happy it’s Friday! My husband has been out of town on business and gets back today which is always nice. 🙂
Looking forward to a date night and finally getting our outdoor spaces in shape!
Also, I wanted to mention that if you’re new here and want to catch up, or you’ve missed any of the previous Friday Favorites posts, you can always find any of them here. And for any of you on Instagram, I hope you’ll follow me there! I also encourage you to follow me on LTK, the free shopping app. I share all my sources for my own home there, as well as everything I post on Instagram and lots of fun app-only content (including more fashion!) THINGS I LOVE IN DESIGN/DECOR

This home by Kate Marker Interiors feels so fresh and pretty!
Fun find of the week! I’m in love with this charming basket from McGee & Co, but I just found this one that is the exact same – for half the price!!
Also, I mentioned these cute basket planters a few weeks ago but I wanted to report back that I received them and they are so good! The wicker is the perfect beige/grey color and the price is very good for the quality. I have the small in the dining room and the medium on the porch, and I’m going to go back and order the large.
I absolutely adore this sage green outdoor pillow! I bought two of them earlier in the year and I’m using them in the family room, but they are full indoor/outdoor so you could do either (plus, they’re now 50% off!)
Last year I mentioned I wanted to get a potting station, but I never ended up finding one. Most of them are so small and flimsy, and the Target one (which was the best one) sold out before I could order it! But, this one is very similar to that one I loved last year and it’s on sale! Plus, I love the fact that white is an option so it’s in the cart!
And since we’re on the subject of gardening, I had to share this adorable watering can! I mean, does it get any cuter? Not only that, it’s high quality, made in England, and now 25% off! (if you need a Mom’s Day gift for someone who’s a gardener, this would be a good one).
I’m also all about upgrading my gardening tools and just got these highly rated pruners and a new trowel. I feel so ready to do some planting! 😉
If you’re looking for an outdoor sofa, this one seems like an amazing choice! The style is gorgeous, it has rave reviews, and it’s a great price.
Weekly Amazon finds: I’m loving this sweet ocean print in pretty blues and this dryer vent cleaner hose attachment is amazing! It’s important to clean out your dryer vent to prevent fires, and this might be the best $9 I ever spent! (almost half off right now)
Last week’s best sellers: this scalloped marble tray and this gorgeous outdoor living coffee table book.
THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

Seeing this pic on Pinterest this week really inspired me! This is the perfect spring outfit – easy, breezy cropped pants, a cute striped sweater, block heel pumps, and an adorable straw bag. So I set out to recreate it.
I purchased these cropped linen pants (on sale) back when I featured them last month and love them! If you want a slouchier, pull-on pair these are a great option.
I love this striped sweater (30% off) and this striped cardigan (50% off) is a great option as well.
The shoe above is quite expensive, but this pump gives a similar look for less. Or, I think a flat slingback would be equally as cute like this woven pair (50% off) or this adorable raffia option (also on sale).
And this straw bag would be perfect for everything this spring and summer, plus it’s 40% off!
A couple more crushes: it doesn’t get much cuter than this cropped linen blazer (now on sale), and if you want a beautiful linen shift dress, this version is under $100 and so chic!
Last week’s best sellers: this maxi shirt dress and this ruffle-trim linen top.
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

We haven’t talked podcasts in forever! I still listen everyday, I just hadn’t found any new ones that I loved enough to share with you. But now I have! My son turned me onto Armchair Anonymous, which is under the umbrella of Armchair Expert. I was already a fan of Armchair, but I had only ever listened to the Expert episodes, which are primarily celebrity interviews. I love those and am a big fan of the show, but I had never tried any of the others.
The Anonymous premise is that each week people call in with crazy stories pertaining to the subject for that week. Things like “Craziest Delivery Driver story,” “Worst Job Interview,” “Worst Honeymoon Story,”, “Worst Holiday Vacation” and more. They are crazy and absolutely hilarious. It’s actually been nice to listen to something lighter and funnier for a change. Plus, each episode has four short stories, so it’s easy to listen to just part of one if I need to. And now I’ve turned my husband onto it – and we both love it!
A couple other podcasts that aren’t true crime that we enjoy are SmartLess (celebrity interviews) and Mel Robbins (self help).
THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

One of my absolute favorite things about spring is that it’s rhubarb season! I know many people (including my whole family!) don’t like it but I absolutely love the flavor and the tartness it brings to desserts, sauces, and more.
It’s delicious in desserts, but did you know it can be used for savory recipes, too? This Rhubarb Crisp (NYT gift recipe) is so yummy, and I’m dying to try this Rhubarb Raspberry Cobbler (NYT gift recipe). Want more? Here are 41 Rhubarb Recipes for Spring!
RANDOM THOUGHTS

If you love flowers, you will love this inspiring Instagram account! My friend Sandra has lived in France and owns a flower shop New England, and shares beautiful florals and photos of Paris. And she also has a gorgeous book which makes a perfect gift for the Francophile, plus it’s stunning on a coffee table. Highly recommend!

Thanks for the inspiration this week, Sheila! I absolutely love the home tour by Kate Marker. I haven’t heard of her before this. It was especially fun to see her work as her style is very similar to what I’m doing in the new home we moved into several months ago! Great inspiration! Also, love the scalloped marble tray that I must have missed last week! I hope you did get that potting station. It’s so cute, along with the watering can and I’ve added those clippers to my wish list for a little Mother’s Day shopping help for my family. 😉 As always a great Friday Favorites!
Yay! so glad you found things you loved this week JC! Kate Marker is so talented, and if you’re on IG, she’s fun to follow there! The tray is now on sale (I just bought it!) as is the watering can (on my wish list!)
Thank you so much for your kind words and support, it’s so appreciated!
