Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

Hey friends hope you’re all doing well this week! It’s been a whirlwind here as our painters finally left last Friday so I spent the better part of the weekend putting the house back together and dusting, dusting, dusting

But in between my dusting and summer styling, I found lots of fun things to share this week. I’m all in on summer now so today I’m sharing summer fashion, summer food, summer books, and of course, some great design and decor ideas, too!

This home designed by Bria Hammel is bright and pretty, but still cozy.

Have you guys checked out the Kelly Clarkson line at Wayfair?? It’s universally gorgeous and gets great reviews, too! I love this sideboard, this French country coffee table (priced so well), and I’m crazy for this dining hutch!

A few random finds this week: love this stunning bowl, these hurricanes would look great inside or out, these vases are stunning and look like real antiques (and they’re on sale), and I love striped pillows and this is such a great neutral one

And remember a few weeks ago when I found some wicker wrapped serving items (soo cute for summer!)? Well now Target has them and they’re so inexpensive! I just ordered both the pitcher and the glasses – love the European feel!

We’ve been trying to plan a little getaway and even though so far we’ve been unsuccessful, I’ve been busy making sure I have some of my favorite essentials for the trip!

I just ordered this swimsuit (so chic and a great price), also love this cute one (37% off!) and this coverup is so perfect. For me, a cute dress is also essential – this one is pretty and I love the style of this linen one (it could go anywhere day or night)! And I have this linen tee in several colors – it’s a great way to elevate a basic tee (and it’s on sale!)

Random things this week: These dressy shorts are cute for both day and night, this beachy sweater is so perfect for summer (think summer evenings!), and these sandals are the cutest thing ever (they come in black, too).

Is there anything better than a summer beach read? You know, those novels that just feel like summer? I’ve been looking for more of those ‘summer reads’ that I may have missed and read about one called One Italian Summer that sounds really good. She also wrote In Five Years which I also haven’t read so I’m planning on digging into one (or both) this week!

If you’re looking, there are more great beach reads here.

The ice cream making has started! I think I’ve shared with you before how much we love the tradition of making homemade ice cream each summer and we started with my son’s favorite Blackberry Chip Ice Cream last week and it was as delicious as ever.

This Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream, this Sour Cream Ice Cream (literally to-die-for), and this Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato are a few of our favorites. I use this ice cream maker (on sale!) which I consider a summer essential!

Lately my nails have been breaking like crazy! So I’m all about trying to remedy that. I’ve started using Nailtiques and hoping to incorporate other strategies like eating these foods.

For gardening inspiration, check out Joanna Gaines’ stunning garden.

Love this Facebook Marketplace cabinet makeover!

And if you missed it, I shared my Summer Home Tour this week – including our newly painted downstairs! Check it out here.

Happy Friday!
