Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration
Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!
Now that it’s December, the holiday season is officially here, right?! I’ve been sharing my Christmas tours over the last couple of weeks so now I’m done decorating and ready to start taking in the fun stuff! I hope you’ve enjoyed the inspiration, and if you missed any of the tours you can see them all here.
And now, let’s talk Friday Favorites! I’ve had so many new subscribers lately that I wanted to share a little about this weekly post so you all know what it is! This is where I share everything from a great decor find, to a favorite movie, recipe, or podcast, to an article on beauty or health, or even a wonderful thing to wear – anything that strikes me as interesting or fun or that you might love, too! 😉
And this week I’m sharing all the random things!!

THINGS I LOVE IN DESIGN/DECOR
This beautiful seaside home combines lots of French and Swedish antiques – and how about that ceiling treatment?!
Now that my decorating is finished, I’m trying to focus more on getting some shopping done! Of course, I’ll be shopping my own Gift Guides but I’m also sharing a few fun finds I love that would be perfect for gift-giving – or for you! 😉
You guys have been loving so many of my recent shares – I love that! Your favorites the last couple of weeks have been these gorgeous mercury glass votives (a great gift!), this frosted tabletop tree, and this stunning mirror – all still on sale!
This white marble bowl is gorgeous (and how great would it look holding ornaments or fruit in the kitchen?) It’s also a less expensive dupe for my slightly larger version. This hammered metal bowl (almost half off!) is another gorgeous gift option.
And a few holiday items I’m loving are this stunning pinecone wreath and these gorgeous mercury glass tree cloches – both on sale now!
You guys know how much I love a more neutral Christmas look, but I also love pops of rich red and am thinking of doing that next year. If you love that too, check out these faux poinsettias (on sale now) (I actually have them and they are beautiful and look so real) and how cute are these Santa toile sheets?! Also love this adorable stocking (50% off) and this similar one (30% off now).
THINGS I’M WEARING/LOVING/WANTING
I got such a great response from the holiday attire I shared last week, I thought I’d share a few more fab finds! This top is so versatile and 25% off (above), as are these velvet skinnies (40% off and so cute in the Bordeaux!), and I’m loving these gorgeous pearl earrings (50% off and there’s a bracelet version, too). Also, you (and me!) loved this stunning blouse (still 50% off) and these coated jeans for under $100.
Another recent fave? These suede waterproof booties! I shared them here last year but they sold out before I could buy them, so I plucked them up last week! They’re super comfortable. If you’re looking for a more casual, chunky style these are also waterproof and are on sale.
I also wanted to share some beauty faves since a lot of you have been asking me! I use this tinted moisturizer everyday and this foundation when I want more coverage, this amazing concealer is my fave, you know I love this eyeshadow palette, and I swear by this drugstore mascara.
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING/LISTENING TO
I love a good romantic comedy, so when a new one comes out starring two of my absolute favorite actors, well.. I run! We saw Ticket to Paradise and I loved it. Sure it’s a little predictable but seriously, they are so good and I fell for their chemistry.
THINGS I’M MAKING/EATING/DRINKING
I’ve been looking for some new recipes that are cozy and filling since it’s been so cold here! These Crockpot Coq au Vin Meatballs and Crockpot Chicken Meatballs with Creamy Orzo both look delicious and easy. I guess I need a crockpot!
RANDOM THOUGHTS
How cute are these mini-gingerbread mug toppers?!
These rug gripper pads are amazing at keeping rug corners actually flat (don’t know how I didn’t know about them earlier!)

Love your vignettes and inspiring ideas! In the collage picture with the circle of a kitchen setting, I love the two chandeliers above the island and am wondering if you could please share where I might find them to purchase?
Thanks so much Sheila!

Hi Beverly and thank you – so appreciate hearing that!
I’m not sure where those were from but I did find several that are similar.
This one is very pretty: https://rstyle.me/+i9wwsd29fzrRDtVRY6lPog
This one is similar in style: https://rstyle.me/+OoX1PQBsu2w1UQda86i0ZQ
This one is slightly larger but lovely: https://rstyle.me/+b6WGd7a55HS63eU2OU3bYA
And this is probably the closest but you’d have to paint the black! – https://rstyle.me/+tq1ypnW7c-lG8lpHZ-xNTA
Other than that I would try googling something like “wood rustic French chandelier” and see what comes up!
Good luck!
Sheila
Thank you for all your inspiration! I wanted a small tree (3.5 ft.), but wasn’t sure what to do as far as decor. You showed a tree in a crock with tiny cow bells and I loved it. I have a hard time with dimensions, so your sources were so helpful. Love my little tree!
Oh I love hearing that Barbara!! Thanks so much – I’m so glad I was able to help! Happy Holidays to you!
